‘Halloween 6’ Double CD Expanded Soundtrack Cover Art Revealed

Composer Alan Howarth (Halloween II-6) announced last month that he would be releasing an expanded double CD his soundtrack to Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, including both his original Producers Cut score and his revised version for the Theatrical Cut, and he has now revealed the official cover art, which you can check out below.
You can scroll down to view the track listing on the back cover as well!
This release features not only Howarth’s full expanded soundtrack from the theatrical version of Curse, but also a never-before-released alternate soundtrack from the infamous “Producers Cut” of the film, which is being released for the first time as part of the Halloween: The Complete Collection 15-disc Deluxe Edition Blu-ray set, for which we’ll have a full review of in a few days (see our photo preview here).
We’ve watched the new Producers Cut Blu-ray and all of its bonus features, including an excellent feature commentary by Howarth and writer Daniel Farrands, and we can tell you that the original score is vastly different and much more reminiscent of classic Carpenter than the final Theatrical version. The electric guitars often associated with this film’s soundtrack were not added until Howarth went back to re-score the controversial (and much more gory) Theatrical Cut of Curse.
You can pre-order the double CD from Howarth himself here.
