‘Halloween 6’ Producer’s Cut Standalone Blu-ray Coming in September

The infamous Producer’s Cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers was officially released for the first time ever as part of last year’s monumental Halloween: The Complete Collection box set (read our review), and now this original alternate version of the sixth film in the Halloween movie franchise is getting its own standalone Blu-ray release this September.

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers Unrated Producer’s Cut will arrive on Blu-ray on September 15, from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, and you can scroll down to view the cover art, and then pre-order yours for just $9.99 right here.

We have not yet confirmed what (if any) bonus features will be included, though it’s unlikely that it will have all of the killer extras included in the box set.

Paul Rudd becomes Ant-Man in theaters today, but it was here in Haddonfield, as Tommy Doyle in Halloween 6 where Rudd made his feature film debut.

The Curse of Michael Myers also marks the final on screen performance of Donald Pleasence, who immortalized the role of Dr. Sam Loomis in five of the first six Halloween movies.

Will you be adding this release to your collection?
