Halloween icon Jamie Lee Curtis recently sat down for a conversation with pop icon and American Horror Story star Lady Gaga for Variety’s Actors on Actors PBS series of one-on-one interviews.
Lady Gaga joined the anthology genre hit American Horror Story for its most recent Hotel season, and Jamie Lee Curtis stars on FOX’s Scream Queens after a legendary career of being horror’s ultimate scream queen.
Among the topics discussed are the worst part of fame (Curtis says it’s “isolation”), how Curtis’s role (and particularly her striptease) in James Cameron’s True Lies had a “major impact” on Gaga, and the challenges of filming sex scenes, plus there’s a telling moment when Curtis asks “Is Gaga a character?”, to which the singer responds in part “It’s not necessarily what I am entirely”.
Gaga also reveals just how much The Jinx subject Robert Durst inspired and influenced her American Horror Story character The Countess, and Curtis invites her to guest star on Season 2 of Scream Queens, currently filming in Los Angeles.
