Bill Moseley Keeps it in the Family in ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’

We are super excited to see one of the greatest horror icons in movie history return, when Leatherface revs it up again in theaters this Friday in Texas Chainsaw 3D, starring Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, Halloween 2007), and we’ve got the official theatrical trailer, TV spot, and a ton of fresh images for you to feast on.

Moseley (pictured below) is an original member of the infamous Sawyer family of Newt, Texas, as his career was jumpstarted as the memorable “Chop-Top Sawyer” in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, director Tobe Hooper’s sequel to his own 1974 groundbreaking masterpiece of homegrown terror The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

For this seventh entry in the Chainsaw franchise, Moseley takes over the role of “Drayton Sawyer” (aka “The Cook”), which was played by the late Jim Siedow in the first film and its sequel.

The original Leatherface himself, Gunnar Hansen (pictured above) also appears in the new film in a cameo, along with his most famous survivor, Marilyn Burns, as well as John Dugan, reprising his role as “Grandpa Sawyer” from the original. Burns and Dugan both also appeared briefly in 1994’s Texas Chainsaw: The Next Generation.

Directed by John Luessenhop, Texas Chainsaw 3D stars Alexandra Daddario (Bereavement), Tania Raymonde, Scott Eastwood, Trey Songz, and Dan Yeager.

Leatherface returns to theaters this Friday, Jan. 4!
