Mad Monster Convention Throws a Killer Party in Charlotte [Photo Gallery]
The third annual Mad Monster Party horror convention took over Charlotte, North Carolina this past weekend, and Halloween Daily News was there all three days to bring you extended coverage of the entire killer event, including the world premiere screening of Smothered, starring Halloween 5‘s Don Shanks!
Shanks was joined by Smothered writer and director John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard) and co-stars Bill Moseley (House of 1,000 Corpses) and R.A. Mahailoff (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3) for the screening, which was followed by lively a Q&A panel.
Other guests included Tom Atkins (Halloween III, The Fog), Sid Haig (Halloween, House of 1,000 Corpses), Ken Foree (Halloween, Dawn of the Dead), Caroline Williams (Halloween II, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), William Shatner (Star Trek, The Twilight Zone), Corey Feldman (The Goonies, Gremlins, Friday the 13: The Final Chapter), Henry Winkler (Happy Days, Scream), Hulk Hogan, Elvira, and many more.
