Celebrate Janet Leigh Day Today!

To celebrate what would have been Janet Leigh’s 87th birthday, the Facebook fan site Janet Leigh Icon has designated today, July 6, as Janet Leigh Day!

The original scream queen and star of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic Psycho, Leigh has appeared in dozens of other films and is the mother of Halloween franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis.

Leigh and Curtis appeared together in John Carpenter’s The Fog and later in Halloween H20.
