Adam West, Burt Ward To Play Batman and Robin In New Movie

Adam West and Burt Ward will reprise their iconic roles as Batman and Robin in a new 90-minute animated feature film to be released in January 2016 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic ABC TV series in which West and Ward of course played the Dynamic Duo.

Ward dropped the bombshell announcement during a Q&A panel at the Mad Monster Party convention in Charlotte, North Carolina this past Saturday, adding that there is definitely one movie on the way with possibly a second to follow.

Adam West will voice Batman and Burt Ward will voice Robin, as they have for many animated incarnations of the characters since the show’s cancellation, with the new film set to be released in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the ABC series Batman, which first aired on on January 12, 1966.
