‘Halloween’ Takes Over Flashback Weekend Chicago August 2015

An unbelievable gathering of Halloween icons is shaping up for this summer, with Nick Castle, the original man behind the Michael Myers mask credited as portraying The Shape in John Carpenter’s 1978 classic, headlining the upcoming Flashback Weekend Horror Convention in Chicago, leading a killer lineup of franchise favorites also set to appear at this event.

In addition, to Castle, other guests from Haddonfield already confirmed include Charles Cyphers (Halloween, Halloween II), Dick Warlock (Michael Myers in Halloween II, Halloween III), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4/5, Rob Zombie’s Halloween/Halloween II), George Wilbur (Michael Myers in Halloween 4 and 6), Don Shanks (Michael Myers in Halloween 5), Alan Howarth (soundtrack composer of Halloween III through 6), Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode in Halloween 2007, Halloween II), Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5), and Matthew Walker (Halloween 5)!

UPDATE: Additional Halloween guests also now include Nancy Loomis (Halloween, Halloween III), Dean Cundey (cinematographer of Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III), Tommy Lee Wallace (Halloween, director of Halloween III), Tom Atkins (Halloween III), Stacey Nelkin (Halloween III), and Kristina Klebe (Halloween 2007).

UPDATE 2: Rob Zombie regular Jeff Daniel Phillips (Halloween II, The Lords of Salem, 31) has been added to the lineup.

UPDATE 3: Will Sandin, who portrayed Michael Myers at age 6 in John Carpenter’s Halloween has now been added to the lineup.

UPDATE 4: William Forsythe (Rob Zombie’s Halloween, The Devil’s Rejects) has now been added to the lineup.

UPDATE 5: Jeffrey Kramer (Halloween II, Jaws, Jaws II) has now been added to the lineup.

UPDATE 6: Erik Preston (young Michael Myers in Halloween 4) has now been added to the lineup.

We will (continue to) update this post as more related guests are announced.
