Watch ‘H2’ Star Daniel Roebuck’s Hilarious New Horror Short Film

Daniel Roebuck is a huge horror fan and a major collector of genre rarities that would make your eyeballs fall out, and he is also a big lover of Halloween, as evidenced in part by his very funny portrayal of Rabbit in Red owner Lou Martini (pictured below) in Rob Zombie’s 2007 Halloween remake and its 2009 sequel Halloween II, and also in Roebuck’s most recent short film.

Entitled Daniel, My Brother, Roebuck plays himself in this lighthearted ode to genre fanatics, getting berated by his brother (Mike Karberg) for being a 50-year-old who still collects toys. It’s good fun and pretty damn funny, especially if you share any of Daniel’s affections for horror collectibles, as I do.

“How are girls ever going to be interested in you if you’re perpetually 10?”

Written and directed by Daniel Roebuck and also starring J.C. Wendel, you can check out the short film in the player below to find out the answer to that question, and then give us your thoughts in the comments!
