‘Krampus’ Coming To Universal Halloween Horror Nights

You better watch out, you better not cry, because Krampus is coming to Halloween Horror Nights in a new haunt attraction this year at both Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood.

The new maze is inspired by the hit Christmas horror film released in 2015 from writer/director Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat). No other information on the attraction has been released just yet, other than the announcement video below and a brief description stating “As a blizzard rages, St. Nicholas’ evil counterpart and his band of Dark Minions claim the souls of the faithless.”

We will update this post with new details as they become available.

In the film, “When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.”

Halloween Horror Nights will run for select nights from Sept. 16 through Oct. 31 at Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando, Florida and Hollywood, California.
