Michael Myers Vacuform Mask Coming in 2017 from Trick or Treat Studios

It’s #MichaelMyersMonday, so what better time to share with you some exciting news of a different kind of Michael Myers coming our way next year from Trick or Treat Studios.

Early yesterday morning, Trick or Treat Studios dropped the announcement on their Facebook page that 2017 will bring the release of their first line of vacuform hard plastic face masks, beginning with the company’s best seller from their killer overhead line, the Halloween II Michael Myers.

Vacuum forming, or “vacuforming”, is a simplified version of thermoforming, whereby a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto a single-surface mold, and forced against the mold by a vacuum and formed into a permanent object, such as a hard mask that doesn’t lose its shape.

While obviously not as movie-authentic as the company’s outstanding line of overhead Myers masks already available from Halloween II, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween: Twenty Years Later (H20), and Halloween: Resurrection, this new line of strap-around face masks will definitely make a cool addition for many avid collectors.

The vacuform line will be hitting major retail stores around the world for Halloween 2017.

Two images of the new Halloween II vacuform mask were also revealed, which you can view below!
