It’s Hunting Time in New Trailer for Rob Zombie’s ’31’

A bloody new trailer for Rob Zombie‘s upcoming Halloween-set horror film 31 was released this week, as the countdown continues to the special advanced screening of the film coming to theaters this Thursday, September 1.

Tickets are on sale now, via Fathom Events here, for the early preview screening, which arrives two weeks before the official opening date on Sept. 16 and will also include a sneak peek at the upcoming companion documentary that follows the making of 31, as well as a Q&A with Zombie shot during his current concert tour, and the world premiere of two new Rob Zombie music videos.

Written and directed by Rob Zombie (Halloween/Halloween II; House of 1000 Corpses; The Devil’s Rejects; The Lords of Salem), 31 stars Sheri Moon Zombie (The Devil’s Rejects, Halloween), Golden Globe nominee Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange; Halloween/HalloweenII); and regular Zombie vets including Richard Brake (Halloween II, Game of Thrones), Lew Temple (Halloween, The Devil’s Rejects, The Walking Dead), Daniel Roebuck (Halloween II, The Devil’s Rejects); Jeff Daniel Phillips (Halloween II); and Meg Foster (They Live), to be released by Saban Films.

Set on Halloween night, the film follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.

31 will be released on VOD on September 16 and in limited theaters on October 21.
