‘Halloween’ Returning to Theaters October 2016, with Parts ‘4’ and ‘5’!

Happy #MichaelMyersMonday! In keeping with what has now become an annual tradition since 2012, Michael Myers will return to theaters this October in John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween, as well as the sequels Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), all set for a limited theatrical re-release just in time for Halloween 2016!

Trancas International has again partnered with SpectiCast this year to bring back John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween, screenings of which will also feature an exclusive interview and retrospective with the legendary director, along with Halloween 4 The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5 The Revenge of Michael Myers to theaters this October.

It looks like screenings in some areas will begin as early as October 13, with many scheduled for October 31 and the days leading up to Halloween.

The most recent transfer of John Carpenter’s Halloween, digitally restored and remastered by the film’s original cinematographer Dean Cundey for the 2014 Halloween: The Complete Collection Blu-ray box set, is the version that will be shown in theaters this October.
