Rihanna’s Marion Crane Checks Into ‘Bates Motel’ New Trailer

Our first look at Rihanna in iconic role of Marion Crane – originally played by Janet Leigh in Psycho – from the upcoming final season of A&E’s Bates Motel has arrived online today.

The upcoming Season 5 will dive into its own retelling of the classic Psycho story from director Alfred Hitchock’s landmark 1960 film based on the novel by Robert Bloch, which means the original Sam Loomis arrives, played by The Walking Dead alum Austin Nichols, and a certain shower scene now with Rihanna in the role of Marion Crane (originally played by Janet Leigh), will be coming to TV this year.

The series stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates/”Mother”.

Isabelle McNally (House of Cards) also joins the cast this year as “Madeliene Loomis”, who we assume is the wife that Sam Loomis mentions but is never seen in Hitchcock’s Psycho. Madeliene Loomis is described as “a warm and kindhearted woman who bears a striking resemblance to a young Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga)”.

Bates Motel reopens for business on A&E on Feb. 20.
