John Carpenter’s ‘Tales for a HalloweeNight Volume 3’ Coming in October

Following the 2015 horror anthology Tales for a HalloweeNight and its 2016 Volume 2 followup, not to mention the recent continuing adventures Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China and and Snake Plissken from Escape From New York in comic form, writer/director/producer/musician John Carpenter is back with a new graphic novel compilation of Halloween stories in Tales for a HalloweeNight Volume 3, coming this October.

From Storm King Productions, the new collection will include 13 more twisted tales of terror, tricks, and treats. In volume 3 of the award-winning graphic novel series, Carpenter brings together another stellar ensemble of storytellers from the worlds of movies, novels and comics for another spine-tingling collection of stories that will haunt your dreams at night.

Carpenter is also unleashing his latest comic book project, new monthly anthology series called Tales of Science Fiction, this summer. The first three-issue arc written by James Ninness with art by Andres Esparza is called “Vault” and will arrive on July 26. The official synopsis: When the moon-bound crew of Gaia stumbles across an enormous alien vessel, more technologically advanced than their own, priorities change. The mystery deepens when the crew discovers the name of the vessel along the hull… written in English: VAULT.

John Carpenter’s Tales for a HalloweeNight Volume 3 is coming this fall, to be released on October 10.
