Halloween Theme Park Slasher ‘Hellfest’ Gets October 2018 Release Date

Hellfest, an upcoming horror film to be set at a theme park during Halloween, has landed a new director and is aiming for an October 2018 release date.

Hellfest is set at a seasonal horror theme park during Halloween, where a night of fun turns deadly as a costumed killer begins slaying unsuspecting patrons who believe that it’s all part of the festivities.

Gregory Plotkin (pictured above; Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, editor of Get Out) will direct for Lionsgate and CBS Films, after Jennifer Chambers Lynch and Neil Marshall were both previously attached to helm.

It was announced today that Hellfest will arrive in theaters on October 12, 2018, one week before the new Halloween movie.

It sounds like this one could not be more up our alley, so we will continue to follow this project closely as it develops.
