GalaxyCon Bringing Horror and Pop Culture Royalty to Raleigh

GalaxyCon (formerly known as Supercon) is coming to Raleigh, North Carolina this month, with four days of action and an insane lineup of celebrity guests, including a Rocky Horror Picture Show reunion, the voices of Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie, and the last living performer to have played one of the original Universal Studios monsters.

The legendary Riccou Browning, who starred as the Gill-Man creature in Universal’s 1954 The Creature From the Black Lagoon and its two sequels, is among the celebrity guests that will be in attendance.

Additional headlining guests include Tim Curry and Meatloaf, who are joining their Rocky Horror castmates Barry Bostwick (Tales of Halloween), Patricia Quinn (The Lords of Salem), and Nell Campbell, as well as John Cusack, Anthony Michael Hall, Ron Perlman, Racheal Leigh Cook, Billy Zane, Rob Schneider (Hubie Halloween), Summer Glau, Judith Hoag (Halloweentown), the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer Kristy Swanson, and many more.

The voice of Jack Skellington, Chris Sarandon (Child’s Play, Fright Night) joins his Nightmare Before Christmas co-star Ken Page, the voice of Oogie Boogie.

There will also be a Star Trek reunion with George Tekei, Jonathan Frakes, and Wil Wheaton, and a gathering of cast members from The Office, including Oscar Nunez, Kate Flannery, Creed Bratton, Leslie Baker, and Catherine Tate.

And that’s not even half of the guests coming, as GalaxyCon will also welcome numerous comic book creators, pro wrestlers, cosplayers, and more celebrities. You can see the complete list of guests here.

Now expanded to four days, GalaxyCon is happening from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday, July 28 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, NC. Tickets are available here.
