Nick Castle Reuniting with ‘Halloween’ Station Wagon at Flashback Weekend 2020

Nick Castle will be reunited with the original screen-used station wagon from Halloween at this summer’s annual Flashback Weekend horror convention in Chicago.

The long lost original “HALLOWEEN Wagon” driven by Nick Castle in “John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN” (1978) has been found and will premiere at Flashback Weekend in Chicago this Summer as part of the Horror Auto Museum!

“The HALLOWEEN Wagon” featured in the classic “John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN” (1978) will be premiered at Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con July 31 – August 2, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, IL.    Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the iconic Station Wagon, and even sit INSIDE this piece of cinema history in the very seat in which Nick Castle (as Michael Myers) sat back in 1978!

This is the very station wagon which Nick Castle drove on location in 1978 during the filming of “John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN”.   This 1978 Ford LTD station wagon was rented from a car rental agency for two weeks of filming.  After filming was completed, the wagon was returned to the rental agency and auctioned off for private use.  It then sat in a barn for decades before being sold to its current caretaker.  The Wagon has received a thorough and complete exterior and interior frame on restoration. The Illinois State Logo and Prisoner Cage have been once again added to the Wagon.

The HALLOWEEN Wagon will be reunited with Nick Castle (the original Michael Myers) at Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con July 31 – August 2, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, IL.   Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with Nick Castle and the station wagon.  For special access to the HALLOWEEN Wagon, a limited number of HALLOWEEN Wagon Private Access VIP passes will be available. Details TBA.

The Halloween Wagon will be part of Flashback Weekend’s Horror Auto Museum, a collection of the iconic cinematic vehicles from legendary horror films.  Also showcased will be the Christine Movie Car (John Carpenter’s CHRISTINE 1983), the Green Goblin Head from “Stephen King’s MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE” (1986), and also making its convention premiere will be the 1971 PHANTASM II Hemi Cuda Tribute Car, a tribute to Don Cosceralli’s classic “PHANTASM II” 1988!   The HSPPA (The Horror & Sci-Fi Prop Preservation Association)   will also be displaying a collection of legendary screen used props, including original SAW props and Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter’s wardrobe from “BILL & TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY”!

The 19th annual Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con will feature celebrity guests Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith (the SAW series), Nick Castle and Sandy Johnson (“John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN”), Alex Winter (“Bill” in the “BILL & TED” series and the eagerly anticipated sequel “BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC” opening this August 22, 2020), William Sadler (The Grim Reaper “BILL & TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY”), Kane Hodder (Jason 7-10),  Mark Rolston & Jenette Goldstein (“ALIENS”),  Quinn Lord (“TRICK r’ TREAT”), and MANY more guests to be announced.
