Funko Celebrating Funkoween in May with New Horror Product Reveals
Funko announced today that, for the first-time ever, they are celebrating “Funkoween” in May with a week of new Halloween-themed product reveals, which kicked off today, May 18, and will continue through this Friday, May 22, and the items will be available for pre-order as they are unveiled.
First up, on Monday, Funko revealed a new 13-day Halloween countdown advent calendar with doors that open to reveal 13 new horror character mini Pop! figures, a Child’s Play 2 Chucky 10-inch super-sized figure, three new Killer Klowns from Outer Space Pop! figures, and Shaggy and Scooby-Doo figures from the new Scoob! movie available exclusively at Walmart.
The advent calendar will include figures from horror movies including It, Beetlejuice, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Exorcist, Annabelle Comes Home, The Nun, Little Shop of Horrors, The Shining, and The Lost Boys.
Tuesday‘s reveals include a new Zombieland line of Pop! figures, The Craft collection Pop! figures, six new Edward Scissorhands Pop! figures (featuring different variations of Edward), and three new Pop! figures from the Creepshow TV series (featuring The Creep, Genie, and Scarecrow).
Wednesday‘s reveals include Minions as Universal Monsters Pop! figures, Corpse Bride Pop! figures, a huge assortment of Marvel Zombies figures, and more to be announced.
Thursday‘s reveals include Disney Halloween Pop! figures of “Spooky” Mickey in a vampire costume and “Witchy Minnie” flying on a broomstick, new Haunted Mansion figures, assorted new Nightmare Before Christmas products, a new set of Hocus Pocus Sanderson Sisters Pop! figures, and Marvel Zombies Pocket Pop! Tee combos.
Friday‘s reveals include Invisible Man and Frankenstein’s Monster (glow in the dark) Pop! figures available exclusively from Walgreens, two Stephen King variations available exclusively from BAM and FYE, Beetlejuice Adam and Barbara Pop! figures, Paka Paka Boo Hollow mini figures, and “Vinyl Soda” cans with new Pennywise figures inside.
