‘Halloween H20’ Michael Myers Mask Camera Test Videos Unearthed

Our friend Sean Clark has unearthed a number of rare behind the scenes clips and videos from long past conventions in recent weeks, most recently giving us all an amazing look at early camera tests with a number of different masks that were considered to be used in the 1998 sequel Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later.

Clark, host of Horror’s Hallowed Grounds and owner of Convention All Stars, uploaded the videos, which have never been released before, to his Malfuncsean YouTube channel.

Featured in the videos, in addition to the various masks themselves, is renowned makeup effects artist John Carl Buechler, as well as Brad Hardin, who portrayed Myers in one scene of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and is thus called on to model a few of the masks.

The first video shows some of the masks being considered during pre-production, while the second video includes actual camera tests that were filmed prior to principal photography.
