‘Hocus Pocus’ 4K Release Set for September

Disney’s 1993 family Halloween classic Hocus Pocus is coming to 4K Ultra HD this September.

In the beloved film, three witch sisters from 1693 are resurrected three centuries later in Salem,Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.

The cast includes Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters, as well as Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw, and Doug Jones (The Shape of Water) as Billy Butcherson, directed by Kenny Ortega from a script by Mick Garris and Neil Cuthbert, based on a story by Garris and David Kirschner.

The new Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes the 4K Ultra HD disc, Blu-ray disc, and Digital code.

Hocus Pocus will be released on 4K UHD on September 15, and you can pre-order for $22.99 from Target here, or pre-order the exclusive Steelbook edition with new artwork by Matt Ferguson for $27.99 from Best Buy here.

A sequel is currently in development for Disney Plus.
