Watch Alan Howarth Discuss Scoring ‘Halloween’ Sequels

Alan Howarth, who performed the music for a number of Halloween sequels, recently talked to our friend Darnell Weeks about his musical career and his work on the films in a new interview that is now online.

Howarth collaborated with John Carpenter on the soundtracks to Halloween II and Halloween III: Season of the Witch before taking over full musical duties for Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.

After talking about his introduction to working with Carpenter on Escape From New York and his own work on the Halloween franchise, Howarth touches on his thoughts about not being invited back for Halloween H20, as well as his feelings on some of the other composers who have worked on the franchise, including Halloween 2007 and Halloween 2018.
