New ‘Halloween Kills’ Footage Unveiled During BlumFest Panel!

New footage from the highly anticipated sequel Halloween Kills was unveiled during today’s BlumFest online streaming event.

A virtual panel for the film took place on Thursday, Oct. 29, during BlumeFest, which was streamed on Blumhouse’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, featuring panels of talent from the studio’s upcoming movies, both big screen and Premium VOD, and more.

The Halloween Kills panel included director and co-writer David Gordon Green, as well as franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis and producer Malek Akkad from Trancas Films; along with Miramax producer Bill Block and Jason Blum, discussing the sequel that will bring Michael Myers and Laurie Strode back to theaters.

Teasing what we can expect in Halloween Kills, Green said, “It’s twice the thrills, it’s 10 times the kills. It’s our Empire Strikes Back.”

At just over 30 seconds, there is a lot to unpack in this footage, including a new look at the mask and our first official glimpses of Nancy Stephens as nurse Marion Chambers, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle!

Halloween Kills will be released on October 15, 2021.
