[Interview] James Jude Courtney Talks ‘Halloween Kills’ and Post-Pandemic Horror (Part 2)

Continuing our new series of video interviews, Halloween Daily News caught up with James Jude Courtney recently for a fun and wide-ranging conversation about how his life has changed since first playing the iconic role of Michael Myers in Halloween 2018, what it was like for him putting the mask back on for this year’s sequel Halloween Kills, and much more, including his thoughts on the film’s release date being postponed due to the pandemic.

In the second half of our conversation, James also talks about when he first learned there would be sequels to the 2018 film, his hopes for Kills to get a theatrical release, how he thinks living through the pandemic may affect how audiences react to horror movies moving forward, and life beyond the Halloween franchise, including if he would ever consider playing another horror icon in a different franchise.

You can watch Part 2 of our exclusive new interview with James Jude Courtney below, and if you haven’t already, be sure to watch Part 1 here.
