Helloween Unleashes Epic Self-Titled Reunion Album

Legendary German power metal pioneers Helloween have just released their first album in over five years, uniting all three of the band’s lead singers for the first time.

The self-titled album is an epic masterpiece of heavy metal glory and sonic fury. It’s not a throwback as much as it’s a call to action for the future, with lightning fast solos, pummeling drums, ferocious riffs, and anthemic choruses made for an arena of rabid fans.

Helloween is the 16th studio album by Helloween, and it is the first to feature the lineup from “Pumpkins United“, the 2016 single that marked the return of original member Kai Hansen on guitars and vocals and Michael Kiske on vocals, in addition to the five-member lineup that has been active since 2005, with Andi Deris on vocals, Michael Weikath on guitars, Sascha Gerstner on guitars, Markus Grosskopf on bass, and Daniel Löble on drums.

The new album is the first to feature Hansen since 1988’s Keeper of the Seven Keys: Part II and the first one with Kiske since 1993’s Chameleon. It is also the first Helloween album to feature more than one singer, as Hansen, Kiske, and Deris, all sharing lead vocal duties.
