Online Spooktacular Summerween Event to Feature Dozens of Deals
A new virtual vendor event taking place entirely online and featuring dozens of Halloween-themed businesses offering lots of sweet special deals, the first Spooktacular Summerween Weekend is happening this month.
Halloween Daily News spoke to the event organizer Spooky Wil, who tells us, “The main goal of the weekend is for as many online businesses and artists (who also sell online) to come together to offer discounts, exclusive products, and also giveaways all weekend. With Covid still causing cancellations of events all around the globe and businesses having to close, it gave me the idea of bringing an event that would normally take place indoors, such as Midsummer Scream, and trying to recreate that online for everyone.”
This will be a global event, with businesses from the UK, USA, Australia, and more already set to take part. Each of the participating businesses has been selected due to selling all kinds of Halloween and generally spooky merchandise. It’s free for all businesses to apply and become a part of this online event. The only requirement is that each one offer a discount and/or exclusive products, and, if possible, a giveaway.
“This is all about great businesses coming together to celebrate Halloween at the end of spring and it being filled with all kinds of tricks and treats,” said Wil.
The official Spooky Weekend website will act as a catalog of all of the stores who are taking part in this event, and all special offers will be revealed around a week before.
