‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Heats Up New Official Trailer

A new official trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife was just released online, and it looks great, previewing more of how the new movie connects to the previous comedy classics and teasing some of the returning legacy characters.

The new film is a sequel following the events of the original 1984 classic Ghostbusters and its 1989 sequel.

The official synopsis: When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

Paul Rudd (Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Ant-Man) stars, along with Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Mckenna Grace (Annabelle Comes Home), and Carrie Coons, along with returning originals Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts. It is directed by Jason Reitman, son of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 director Ivan Reitman. .

Ghostbusters: Afterlife arrives in theaters on November 11.
