Nick Castle Reuniting with ‘Halloween’ Station Wagon at Flashback Weekend Chicago

Nick Castle will be reunited with the original screen-used station wagon from Halloween at this summer’s annual Flashback Weekend horror convention in Chicago.

From the official press release: Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con presents a John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) and Halloween Kills (2021) reunion featuring the biggest star (literally) of the original 1978 classic.  That, of course, is the original 1978 LTD Station Wagon which Michael Myers stole and used to stalk his victims throughout Haddonfield, Illinois.

For decades, fans have been wondering what happened to this iconic vehicle. The original 1978 Ford LTD station wagon was rented from a car rental agency for two weeks of filming. After filming was completed, the wagon was returned to the rental agency and auctioned off for private use. It then sat in a barn for decades before being sold to its current caretaker. The Wagon has received a thorough and complete exterior and interior frame on restoration. The Illinois State Logo and Prisoner Cage have been once again added to the Wagon.

The HALLOWEEN WAGON will premiere and be reunited at Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Con with the two stars who drove the Wagon, Nick Castle (as Michael Myers) and Nancy Stephens (as Nurse Marion Chambers).

Flashback Weekend attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with the iconic station wagon, and even sit inside this piece of cinema history in the very seat in which Nick Castle (as Michael Myers) and Nancy Stephens sat back in 1978! This huge Halloween franchise reunion will also feature Sandy Johnson (Judith Myers), James Jude Courtney (the current Michael Myers), and Academy Award winner Christopher Nelson, who created the Michael Myers masks for Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills (2021).  Christopher also portrayed Michael Myers for a few shots in Halloween (2018).

Fans can have their picture taken with Nick Castle and Nancy Stephens in front of the Station Wagon.

Flashback Weekend Horror Con is happening July 30- Aug. 1 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, IL. Tickets are on sale now at www.flashbackweekend.com.
