It’s Halloween on Showtime’s ‘Yellowjackets’ Episode 5

We are loving Showtime’s excellent new series Yellowjackets, and now is the perfect time to get caught up before this week’s episode, which takes place on Halloween.

The show follows a high school girls soccer team after their plane crashes in the remote northern wilderness in 1996, and the survivors are not rescued until 18 months later. The action in the wilderness following the plane crash is intercut with the fractured lives of the survivors in present day. Juliette Lewis (Nature Born Killers), Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), and Jasmin Savoy Brown (Scream 2022) lead a top notch cast.

According to the official synopsis for Episode 5, entitled “Blood Hive,” out in the wilderness, the girls ride the crimson wave and plan a dark arts slumber party; Natalie (Lewis) and Misty (Ricci) tame a stallion; on Halloween night, Shauna (Melanie Lynskey) parties like it’s 1996.

The Halloween episode premieres this Sunday, Dec. 12 on Showtime.
