Neve Campbell Comments on ‘Scream 6’

During a Q&A panel at the Mad Monster Party horror convention this past weekend in North Carolina, Neve Campbell provided an update regarding her possible involvement in the recently announced upcoming sixth Scream movie.

When asked by moderator Levi Tinker if she has had any talks yet with producers for the next Scream film, Campbell answered, “They have approached me. There’s no script yet. There is a draft coming in soon is what I was told. Actually, I was supposed to call a producer yesterday, because he wanted to talk to me about what’s going on. You know, we’ll see. I’ll read the script and see how I feel.”

Neve Campbell has played the now iconic character Sidney Prescott and faced off against Ghostface in every Scream movie so far, starting with director Wes Craven’s 1996 original.

Later at the same Q&A on Sunday, Feb. 20, Campbell said that she would love for Jamie Lee Curtis to play Ghostface in a future Scream film.

Mad Monster Party took place Feb. 18-20 in Concord, North Carolina.
