Filming of Halloween Ends in Georgia officially wrapped tonight (3/9/22), as confirmed on social media by cast and crew members.

Christopher Nelson, special FX makeup designer for the current David Gordon Green-directed Halloween films, posted an image of his wrap gift on Instagram, saying, “Well… thats that. A wrap on our Halloween trilogy FX Makeup. We have laughed, cried, and blood as flowed on and off screen. I think fans will be surprised and really love this chapter. See you on October 14th. An honor being a part of this legacy and cinema history. In 1978 when I was 10 years old if you told me Id be here I wouldn’t have believed it. A giant thank you to @vincentvandykefx and their amazing artists, your work is incredible and I love you all. @ryturek for championing me. Wouldn’t be here wout you. David Gordon Green words cannot express how wonderful it is to work with you. To all the cast and crew @curtisleejamie @andimatichak @missjudygreer and all my team mates.. i love you. Thank you to all of my fx makeup crews throughout these films, you rocked it and know who you are.
To Trancas, Universal, Rough House and Miramax. All good things must end…”

The official Halloween Movies account then reposted Nelson’s image, adding the text, “and that’s a wrap on Halloween Ends, coming to theaters this October 14th!”

Blumhouse producer Ryan Turek also took to Instagram to share a photo of the final night of filming, writing, “Last night of shooting. A wrap on our Halloween trilogy. Incredible journey. Amazing cast, amazing crew. While we obviously have post-production ahead of us, it’s still an emotional night.🖤🎃🔪”

It is interesting to note that a billboard advertising The Rabbit in Red Lounge that was first referenced in John Carpenter’s original 1978 Halloween can be seen in the background of Turek’s photo.

Pictured here with @ryangreenpictures he’s the brilliant set photographer on all three Halloween’s. His images are many of those I’ve shared with you. More to come!”
