Ti West’s ‘X’ Comes onto Blu-ray in May

Acclaimed director Ti West made his long-awaited return to horror earlier this year with A24’s X, which arrives on Blu-ray and DVD in May, and we have all the details.

In the film, a group of actors in 1979 set out to make an adult film in rural Texas under the noses of their reclusive hosts — an elderly couple with a farm and boarding house for rent. But when the couple catches their young guests in the act, the cast finds themselves in a desperate fight for their lives in this tantalizing slasher.

Written and directed by Ti West (The Roost, House of the Devil, Cabin Fever 2, The Innkeepers, The Sacrament), X stars Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness, Suspiria), Brittany Snow (Prom Night, Pitch Perfect), Jenna Ortega (Scream 2022, Wednesday), and Grammy Award^® nominee Scott Mescudi (better known as Kid Cudi; Don’t Look Up).

Special features are unfortunately minimal, including only a behind the scenes featurette called “That X Factor” and an extended version of “The Farmer’s Daughters” scene.

X will be released on Blu-ray in a combo pack including DVD and Digital (buy it here via Amazon) and on standard DVD (buy it here via Amazon) on May 24, from Lionsgate.
