Haunted Screams Expo Returns to Hampton, VA September 2022

The 3rd annual Haunted Screams Expo horror convention returns this September to Hampton, Virginia, and we will be there along with another killer lineup of special guests and awesome events.

The Haunted Screams Expo is hosted by Laitram Tsol, an original horror character, and will feature a walkthrough haunted house on site, dozens of artists and vendors, a makeup effects contest (see 2021 highlights here), costume contests for kids and adults (see 2021 highlights here), and lots more.

The lineup announced so far for this year’s Haunted Screams Expo includes David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween: Resurrection, Scream 4, Hellraiser: Judgment), Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection), Andrew Bryniarski (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Miguel Nunez Jr. (The Return of the Living Dead, Friday the 13th Part V, Juwanna Mann), Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgment), Bonnie Morgan (Rings), Linden Porco (Cult of Chucky, Leprechaun Returns), Deborah Foreman (April Fool’s Day), Gary Morgan (Logan’s Run, Army of Darkness), and Mike J. Regan (Feast, Hellraiser: Inferno, Halloween: Resurrection), making his first ever convention appearance.

UPDATE: Butch Patrick of The Munsters classic TV series and Daniel Roebuck of Rob Zombie’s new The Munsters  movie have also joined the guest lineup and will be appearing at Haunted Screams Expo 2022.

In addition to the celebrity guests and various exhibitors, the event will also feature Q&A panels; digital knife fights; a makeup FX competition judged by Tunnicliffe and Regan, costume contests for kids and adults, and more.

There will also be a Monster Movie Car Show, featuring screen-used and recreated classics from your favorite films and shows, including Maximum Overdrive, The Munsters, Jeeper Creepers, Ghostbusters, and Mad Max, all included with admission to the Expo.

The 3rd Annual Haunted Screams Expo takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18, 2022 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.

Tickets are on sale now at HauntedScreams.com, and you can RSVP on Facebook here.

We will be there! Halloween Daily News is excited to once again take part in this event, and we will be providing complete coverage of both days, including convention floor and contest photo galleries, exclusive videos, panel reports, and new interviews. We will also have a booth on the vendor floor, from which we plan to broadcast live updates to the HDN YouTube channel throughout the weekend.

Update (8/20/22): Ray Wise had to cancel his appearance due to filming.
