‘Terror Train’ Remake Brings Halloween Party to Tubi October 2022

A remake of the 1980 horror classic Terror Train is coming to Tubi this October, and it apparently trades the New Year’s Eve setting of the original movie for a more fitting Halloween holiday setting.

In this contemporary reimagining, eerie excitement is in the air as Alana (Robyn Alomar) and a group of college seniors, haunted by a nasty initiation prank gone terribly wrong, board a party train for a Halloween-themed bash, but their fun spirals into fear as attendees are killed off one by one by an unknown killer. Concealed by costumes and plagued with chaos, everyone is a suspect. As the party train continues full steam ahead, Alana must race against the rails to find the killer before she becomes the next victim.

The cast of the remake is led by Robyn Alomar (Utopia Falls), along with Tim Rozon (Schitt’s Creek). The remake is written by Ian Carpenter and Aaron Martin (Slasher), and is directed by Philippe Gagnon (Amber Alert).

A Tubi Original film, Terror Train will premiere this October as part of the streaming platform’s successful annual month-long Halloween-inspired genre celebration “Terror on Tubi.”

The original 1980 Terror Train, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, takes place on a train during a New Year’s Eve costume party, where the killer dresses in the costumes of each of his most recent victims.
