Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger 2022 Animatronics First Look and Details

New life-size animatronics of slasher icons Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, and Freddy Krueger, as well as a roaming Chucky, will all be stalking Lowe’s stores for the 2022 Halloween season, and we have your exclusive first look images and updated details on these releases.

Produced by Gemmy Industries, the new MIchael Myers animatronic is officially licensed from Halloween II (1981) and is an upgrade from Gemmy’s previous 2020 Myers animatronic. Among the differences, the 2022 version features six bullet hole wounds visible on Michael’s coveralls, as well as newly blackened eyes and a dirtier paintjob on the mask.

We can also confirm that the new Jason Voorhees animatronic comes with the hockey mask attached to the head by staples, which can be carefully removed, in which case we are told that the sculpted deformed face of Jason, which was originally produced for a prototype that was not ultimately licensor approved, is still intact, just not with the detailed paint that was initially planned.

The Freddy Krueger animatronic first released in Lowe’s stores in 2021 is also coming back, along with a roaming Chucky animatronic, rounding out this impressive lineup of slasher killers.

Look for the new Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, and Chucky animatronics by Gemmy at Lowe’s home improvement stores starting this summer (as early as August at some stores).

In addition to the licensed animatronics, there is also a new Michael Myers inflatable holding a jack-o’-lantern, as well as Halloween-themed Chucky, Gizmo, and The Mandalorian inflatables, coming to Lowe’s this year, as well.

You can see exclusive images of the new animatronics, inflatables, and other licensed products coming to Lowe’s for the 2022 Halloween season and hear additional details in our video reports below.
