Scream 6 is currently filming in Montreal, Canada, with recent photos from the set suggesting that the upcoming sequel may bring Ghostface back during Halloween, and today brings news of another new cast addition, as Henry Czerny (Mission: Impossible) has joined the ensemble.

Czerny is reuniting with his Ready or Not directors for the new Scream movie, as first reported by Deadline.

In related news, filming of the sequel is underway, as the franchise’s newest star Melissa Barrera posted an image of her hand with blood on it to her Instagram story today (6/23/22), with the words, “It’s begun.” You can see a screenshot of the post below.

As we previously reported, recent set photos seem to reveal that Scream 6 will take place in New York City during Halloween.
