‘Halloween Ends’ Trailer Classified in Canada, Releasing Soon

The highly anticipated first official trailer for Halloween Ends has been classified in Canada, indicating that its release to the public is coming very soon.

The trailer for this year’s new Michael Myers movie is listed with a “Special Permission” classification on the official Consumer Protection BC website, home of the regulator of a variety of sectors and specific types of consumer transactions in British Columbia. This classification means that the trailer may not be exhibited with motion pictures classified G or PG in Canada. The Halloween Ends trailer was listed on the site on Friday, July 8.

The trailer classification listing also reveals a runtime of just over one minute (1:16), for what is likely to be more of a “teaser” than a full trailer.

By all accounts, the trailer release is imminent, and we in for some excitement in the coming days.

The marketing for Halloween Ends technically began on Thursday, when the film’s official movie novelization went up for pre-order and co-writer Paul Brad Logan was announced as the author.

Logan co-wrote the script with Chris Bernier, Danny McBride, and director David Gordon Green. This marks the first time in Halloween franchise history that the author of one the films’ official novelization also helped write the screenplay.

Priced at $8.99 and set for release on October 18, you can pre-order Halloween Ends: The Official Movie Novelization via Amazon here.

In Halloween Ends, Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode, along with returning cast members Andi Matichak as Allyson, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and James Jude Courtney as The Shape (Michael Myers).

Halloween Ends will arrive in theaters on October 14, 2022.
