Scares That Care Charity Weekend 2022 Brings ‘E.T.’ Reunion and More to VA

The 8th Scares That Care Charity Weekend returns to Williamsburg, Virginia this summer for three days of horror fun, including an E.T. 40th anniversary cast reunion, all to benefit a truly great cause.

Scares That Care is an all volunteer charity, where net proceeds from all organization events are provided to the recipients selected. Founded in 2006, “Scares That Care!” to date has raised and donated over $250,000 to organizations that treat sick children and families with a child affected by illness, burns, or women fighting breast cancer.

This year’s event will include a reunion of the stars of Steven Spielberg’s classic E.T., including Henry Thomas, Robert MacNaughton, Dee Wallace, and K.C. Martel.

Additional celebrity guests that will be at the 2022 Scares That Care Weekend include Danielle Harris (Halloween 45, Halloween 2007, Halloween II 2009), Shawnee Smith (Saw, Saw 2, Saw 3), Barbara Hershey (Black Swan, Insidious), Terry Kiser (Friday the 13th Part VII, Weekend At Bernie’s), Steven Williams (Jason Goes to Hell), Danny Lloyd (The Shining), Harvey Stephens (The Omen), Andrew Divoff (Wishmaster), Danny Pintauro (Cujo, Who’s the Boss), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Identity), Kerr Smith (My Bloody Valentine, Charmed), Jay Goede (Pokemon), John Anderson (Stranger Things), and horror host Count Gore de Vol.
