‘Bloodline Killer’ Trailer Debuts New Halloween Slasher The Skulleton
A brand new Halloween-set slasher film, Bloodline Killer (formerly titled The Skulleton) will be released in one month, and the official trailer just dropped.
The trailer plays up the Halloween setting, with shots of many trick or treaters, costumes, and decorations featured throughout, as a “trick or treat” chant is heard near the end.
The movie follows Moira Cole (played by Shawnee Smith) who attempts to move on with her shattered life after the brutal murder of her friends and family at the hands of her deranged and obsessed cousin, Lee Morris. Living a quiet suburban life with her deeply affected two adult sons, Moira is constantly reminded of her past, which is strewn across movie screens every October, having been optioned into a popular horror movie franchise called The Skulleton.
Starring Shawnee Smith (Saw franchise), the cast also includes Bruce Dern (The ‘Burbs, The Hateful Eight), Tyrese Gibson (Fast & Furious franchise), and Taryn Manning (Orange is the New Black), as well as Drew Moerlein (South of Hell), Alexander James Rodriguez (Netflix’s Bee and Puppycat), Jaime Zevallos (Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger), James Gaudioso (Mid-Century), and Anthony Gaudioso (What Josiah Saw).
The film is directed by Ante Novakovic (American Fright Fest, Sanctioning Evil), from a script written by twins Anthony and James Gaudioso, who also act in the film, and produced by Rob Simmons.
Bloodline Killer arrives in select theaters and on VOD on April 26.
