Genre Icons Join ‘Terrifier’s Catherine Corcoran in ‘If It Bleeds’
The upcoming new thriller If It Bleeds released its first look this week, featuring Terrifier‘s Catherine Corcoran in a starring role, and announced more genre icons joining the cast.
The anthology-style crime thriller marks writer and director Matthew Hersh’s debut feature film, which follows a young and ambitious news reporter, Diane Winters (played by Corcoran) and her cameraman Simon (Justin Miles), as they uncover a mysterious series of gruesome murders that unfold throughout the course of one chaotic and violent day. As events unfold, the duo become players in a sinister situation even more manacing than either one could have imagined.
New additions to the cast include Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), John Kassir (Tales from the Crypt),  Kirby Bliss Blanton (The Green Inferno), Gigi Gustin (American Grit) and Andy Davoli (The Sopranos), joining the previously announced Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier, Return to Nuke Em High), Justin Miles (Adult Swim’s Yule Log, The Hill, Old Dads), Doug Jones (Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, The Shape of Water), Dee Wallace (Halloween, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo), and Krsy Fox (Underworld: Evolution, Bury The Bride; watch our interview here).
The film is produced by Allison Victoria-Wolfe and Doug Hawley the producers, with Corcoran and Fox as consulting producers.
Production is currently nearing completion, and Hersh has teased even more cameos from the horror community.
