‘Maxxxine’ is America’s New Scream Queen in Killer New Trailer

Mia Goth reprises one of her dual roles from Ti West’s X in the sequel Maxxxine, coming to theaters this summer, and a new trailer released today brings the titular heroine to Hollywood where she hopes to finally become a star, while avoiding the Night Stalker and visiting the Bates Motel.

In the film, in 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

From X and Pearl writer/director Ti West, the film stars Mia Goth in the title role, along with Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.

Maxxine arrives on the big screen in theaters on July 5.
