Haunted Screams Expo 2024 Returns to Virginia with Horror Icons, Haunts, and More

The 5th annual Haunted Screams Expo horror convention returns to Hampton, Virginia this month, bringing another killer lineup of special guest genre icons to this year’s event, including an Elm Street reunion, plus Michael Myers, John Carver, Darth Vader, Yoda, and more.

The full guestlist for Haunted Screams Expo 2024 includes Lisa Wilcox (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5), Andras Jones (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4), and Beatrice Boepple (A Nightmare on Elm Street 5) from the Freddy Krueger Elm Street franchise, as well as Halloween‘s Tony Moran, Saw‘s Costas Mandylor, and Thanksgiving‘s Alex Armbruster and Karen Cliche.

Coming all the way from a galaxy far, far away, Deep Roy (Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Tom O’Connell (Darth Vader body double in Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka) will also be at Haunted Screams, representing the light and the dark sides of Star Wars, respectively.

Additional special guests for this convention include creature performer Troy James (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Hellboy) and Junko Bailey (The Grudge), plus original Scream mean girl Nancy Ann Ridder, Dr. Chud of the Misfits, and Jenna Jameson (Zombie Strippers).

The convention will also feature dozens of artists and exhibitors selling all kinds unique horror collectibles, plus an on-site haunted house and kids haunted maze, on-site tattoo artists, the annual makeup and costume contests on Saturday and the kids costume contest on Sunday, and more.

Haunted Screams Expo 2024 takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia. Tickets are on sale now here.
