[Interview] ‘Never Let Go’ Stars Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins Talk Horror and Halloween
Arriving in theaters this week, Never Let Go is total must-see horror and easily one of the year’s best genre films that will absolutely leave audiences talking long after the credits roll, and we are excited to welcome the film’s leads, Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins, who star with Halle Berry, for a brand new conversation on horror and Halloween.
Daggs and Jenkins both turn in outstanding performances in the pivotal and demanding roles of Nolan and Samuel, respectively, the sons of Berry’s “Mamma”.
In this psychological thriller, as an evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother (Halle Berry) and her twin sons is their house and their family’s protective bond. Needing to stay connected at all times – even tethering themselves with ropes – they cling to one another, urging each other to never let go. But when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together are severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.
The film is directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Crawl, Horns) and produced by Shawn Levy (Deadpool and Wolverine).
Never Let Go arrives in theaters this Friday, September 20, from Lionsgate.
