Halloween Horror Sequel ‘The Barn Part III’ Launches Indiegogo Campaign
One of our favorite Halloween horror films of the 2010s is definitely writer/director Justin M. Seaman’s The Barn, an insanely fun ’80s throwback that introduced three new icons of our favorite day (read our review here), and now a third film in the franchise has just been announced, with Seaman launching a crowd funding campaign this week.
Here’s the brief early synopsis for the new film: Years after the events of The Barn Part II, the group is still left in fear that the evil three might come back to finish the harvest once and for all.
The cast includes genre icons Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn, The ‘Burbs) and Kelli Maroney (Chopping Mall, Night of the Comet), as well as Mitchell Musolino returning from the previous two Barn movies.
New faces to the franchise include Kansas Bowling (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Christmas Bloody Christmas), Ellie Church (Only Fangs, Harvest Lake), Tristan Olsen, Amanda Byrne, and Jake McClellan (HeBGB TV).
While The Barn was set in 1989, and The Barn II takes place in 1992, the third film will take place in different era that has not yet been revealed, according to the crowd funding campaign video below.
Seaman originally wrote the first film when he was nine years old, and now, more than two decades later, those first ideas have become The Barn, which has played at film festivals around the world since its completion in 2015 and won numerous awards, including Best Feature and Best Halloween Film at the 2016 Halloween International Film Festival.
