David Howard Thornton Reveals ‘Terrifier 3’ Kill That Almost Made Him Sick [Video]

Art the Clown is slaying Christmas and the box office with Terrifier 3, currently the number one movie in the country, and of all the extreme kills and gross carnage in the sequel, there was one that had David Howard Thornton almost physically ill during filming.

During the Terrifier 3 Q&A panel on Sunday, October 13, at the Nightmare Weekend horror convention in Richmond, Virginia, Thornton was on stage with the new film’s special effects makeup artist Heather Albert when a fan asked if writer/director Damien Leone ever asked him to do anything that he refused to do.

David then revealed the most difficult death scene for him to shoot, not because of the insane blood and viscerally real FX, but due to serious issues with vomit. Check it out in the video below.

In the new film, after surviving Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother are struggling to rebuild their shattered lives. As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the Christmas spirit and leave the horrors of the past behind. But just when they think they’re safe, Art the Clown returns, determined to turn their holiday cheer into a new nightmare. The festive season quickly unravels as Art unleashes his twisted brand of terror, proving that no holiday is safe.

Terrifier 3 is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
