[Interview] Jordan Preston Carter Talks ”Salem’s Lot’, Vampires, and Halloween
The latest adaptation of Stephen King‘s 1975 classic vampire novel ‘Salem’s Lot has just been released on Max, and we talked to Jordan Preston Carter this week about what excited him most about playing the pivotal character of Mark Petrie, facing the villainous Barlow, and more.
In the film, author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.
In our relaxed video conversation yesterday, we also discussed if Jordan read the novel and watched the prior miniseries adaptations before filming this new feature film, and of course we talked about Halloween, as the film takes place during the most wonderful time of year, and Carter revealed his favorite Halloween costume and treat.
