[Interview] ‘Teacup’ Cast and Showrunner Talk New Horror Series, and Halloween
The new horror series Teacup premiered this month on Peacock, with new episodes dropping each week through Halloween, and we talked to the cast, including Rob Morgan, Chaske Spencer, Emilie Bierre, and Caleb Dolden, and creator/writer/showrunner Ian McCulloch about what excited them most about this project, and of course we discussed their plans for this Halloween, and more.
From James Wan’s Atomic Monster, inspired by the New York Times bestselling novel Stinger by Robert McCammon, Teacup follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive.
From modern-day master of horror and the mind behind Saw, The Conjuring, and Insidious, James Wan’s Atomic Monster produces the new series, joined by first-time showrunner Ian McCulloch (Yellowstone). Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale, Dexter, The Predator) stars, along with Scott Speedman (Underworld, Underworld: Evolution) , Chaske Spencer (Echo, The English), Rob Morgan (Smile), Caleb Dolden, and Emilie Bierre.
The first two episodes of Teacup, directed by E.L. Katz (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Channel Zero), are now streaming on Peacock, with two new episodes dropping weekly through Halloween.
You can watch our recent video interviews with showrunner Ian McCulloch, and cast members Emilie Bierre, Caleb Dolden, Chaske Spencer, and Rob Morgan, as well as the official trailer for the series, below.
