Kai Caster Joins ‘Halloween Store’ Horror Comedy
The cast of this year’s upcoming new horror comedy Halloween Store continues to come into focus, with Yellowstone‘s Kai Caster officially announced today in a leading role.
In Halloween Store, “Caster plays the boyfriend of the lead character, Amy (played by Natalie Lind), and a star quarterback with alternative motives. At first glance, Brock is the epitome of an all-American good boy, but he may just have a dark, sinister side,” according to Deadline today. He previously starred on Yellowstone and appears in American Horror Story: Apocalypse (above), and has just joined the cast of Prime Video’s upcoming Spider-Man series Spider-Noir.
As we previously reported, the film follows a group of people who fid themselves trapped inside a costume store on Halloween Night with a mysterious killer on the loose.
Simon Rex (Scary Movie 3, Halloweed, Blink Twice) and Natalie Lind (The Goldbergs, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines) star in the film, directed by Shane Dax Taylor (Murder Company), and executive produced by Kenan Thompson (SNL, Stan Helsing) and John Ryan Jr. through their Artists for Artists banner. Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Split), Shane Dax Taylor, John Lind, and Bradley Sloan also executive produce.
The film is currently in post production, to be released this Halloween.
Stay tuned for more on Halloween Store coming soon.
