‘Hallow Road’ Trailer Previews Dark Halloween Night Drive
The official trailer and poster for the upcoming feature film Hallow Road has been released online today, previewing a harrowing Halloween-set psychological thriller that will explore a parent’s worst nightmare.
Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans) star as two parents who receive a distressing late-night call from their teenage daughter, who has just accidentally hit a pedestrian. They jump in their car, racing to get there before anyone else stumbles across the scene. As they head deeper into the night, disturbing revelations threaten to tear the family apart as they soon realize they might not be the only ones driving down Hallow Road.
Directed by Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow, I Came By) and written by William Gillies, Megan McDonnell (Normal People) also co-stars.
The film takes place on Halloween Night.
Hallow Road will be released in U.K. theaters on May 16, from Universal. A U.S. released date has not yet bet announced.
