‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer Sets Summer Premiere Date

The Addams Family is back in the woe-fully wonderful Netflix series Wednesday, debuting in 2022 and reintroducing the iconic daughter of Gomez and Morticia as a hero for the outsider in all of us, and today the official teaser trailer for Season 2 has been unveiled.

The official synopsis of the new season: Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery. Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season of Wednesday, alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.

The cast includes Jenna Ortega (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Scream VI) once again as Wednesday Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Emma Myers as Enid, Joy Sunday as Bianca, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, as well as Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Joonas Suotamo (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Acolyte), and new additions Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn, Billie Piper as Capri, along with Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Heather Matarazzo (Scream 3, Scream), and Christopher Lloyd (Spirit Halloween: The Movie, Back to the Future), who played Uncle Fester in two 1990s Addams Family feature films, in an unknown new role. Lady Gaga also appears in Season 2.

Wednesday Season 2 Part I premieres on August 6, with the final four episodes of Part II dropping on September 3.
